I have an eye for design and pattern. I am a late bloomer, but I believe I've become quite I'm a writer. I would follow Jesus at the cost of my life Sometimes I think I'm I can't take all of the credit, because i can clearly trace backwards to each point of conception: the opportunities offered, examples set forth, foundations established, nurturing given, sacrifices made, hopes infused, prayers spoken And if they could spend just a few moments with you they'd know why I am who I am.

You're beautiful and I love you. Happy Mother's Day. Mothers Love Her love is like an island in life's ocean, vast and wide A peaceful, quiet shelter From the wind, the rain, the tide. Above it like a beacon light Shine Faith, and Truth, and Prayer; And thro' the changing scenes of life I find a haven there. Mother You filled my days with rainbow lights, Fairytales and sweet dream nights, A kiss to wipe away my tears, Gingerbread to ease my fears. You gave the gift of life to me And then in love, you set me free.

I thank you for your tender care, For deep warm hugs and being there. I hope that when you think of me A part of you You'll always see. Best friends forever Mom and me picking flowers and climbing trees A shoulder to cry on secrets to share Warm hearts and hands that really care. When God set the world in place, when He hung the stars up in space, when He made the land and the sea, then He made you and me. He sat back and saw that was good, He saw things to be as they should. Just one more blessing He had in store; He created a mother, but whatever for? He knew a mother would have a special place to shine His reflection on her child's face.

A mother will walk the extra mile just to see her children smile. She'll work her fingers to the bone to make a house into a home. A mother is there to teach and guide, a mother will stay right bu your side. She'll be there through your pain and strife, she'll stay constant in your life. A mother will lend a helping hand until you have the strength to stand.

Mother Poems Full of Tender Love and Appreciation

She'll pick you up when you are down, when you need a friend she'll stick around. A mother is one who listens well, will keep her word; will never tell. A mother never pokes or pries but stands quietly by your side, giving you the strength you need, encouraging you to succeed. A mother is one who can be strong when you need someone to lean on.

You're more than a mother to me; a reflection of Him in your face I see, a love that knows no boundaries. I'm glad that you chose to be all this and more to me. You share a love that knows no end, you're more than my mother, you are my friend. A Mother Proud My mind drifts off to a simpler place You were tiny, your thoughts consumed with youthful play A twinkle in your eye with a smile on your face Running freely Keeping the world's harshness at bay You have your own daughter now Many memories to create I wonderful life in the making Tis' yours to teach and shape To love and to cherish, holding to every small detail Never forgetting each event that brought a smile Always watching and protecting Keeping safe with every traveled mile I watched you as a child through the loving eyes of a mother Growing and learning, taking care not to hover A kind and gentle mother, now you have become Loving and nurturing Regrets; I have none The respect I hold as I see you continue to grow More than I could have hoped for A wonderful mother you are sweetheart This I truly know You entered the door of womanhood As you captured it with grace It is this for which I am pleased A mother proud you have made me, my heart now at ease.

Somebody's Mother The woman was old and ragged and gray And bent with the chill of the Winter's day. The street was wet with a recent snow And the woman's feet were aged and slow. She stood at the crossing and waited long, Alone, uncared for, amid the throng Of human beings who passed her by Nor heeded the glance of her anxious eye. Down the street with laughter and shout, Glad in the freedom of 'school let out," Came the boys like a flock of sheep, Hailing the snow piled white and deep.

A Mother’s Crown

Past the woman so old and gray Hastened the children on their way. Nor offered a helping hand to her- So meek, so tired, afraid to stir Lest the carriage wheels or the horses' feet Should crowd her down in the slippery street. At last came one of the merry troop, The gayest laddie of all the group; He paused beside her and whispered low, 'I'll help you cross, if you wish to go.

Then back again to his friends he went, His young heart happy and well content. For all the hugs you've given me For always making me believe There were no limits to my dreams I was always on the winning team For all I've done, you love me still How can I tell you all that I feel? Mom, I love you. M-O-T-H-E-R "M" is for the million things she gave me, "O" means only that she's growing old, "T" is for the tears she shed to save me, "H" is for her heart of purest gold; "E" is for her eyes, with love-light shining, "R" means right, and right she'll always be, Put them all together, they spell "MOTHER," A word that means the world to me.

Hi, Not really a poem, but I used this on an intro page to a scrapbook I made my mom for Mother's day. Author, Theresa Gillman. Because I feel that in the heavens above The angels, whispering one to another, Can find among their burning terms of love, None so devotional as that of "Mother," Therefore, by that dear name I have long called you, You who are more than a Mother to me.

"Sonnet To My Mother" By George Barker

Today is the day.. Happy Mother's Day to all mothers..

Mothers are a precious gift All are quite a lift Always hold them very near Because they are very dear So cherish them while you can and say I love you every now and then. A mom teaches how to live by living out her own dreams. A mom teaches how to trust by always being there. A mom teaches how to love simply by being who she is.

Mother To Son - Poem by Langston Hughes

My Mother kept a garden, a garden of the heart, She planted all the good things that gave my life it's start. She turned me to the sunshine and encouraged me to dream, Fostering and nurturing the seeds of self-esteem And when the winds and rain came, she protected me enough-- But not too much because she knew I'd need to stand up strong and tough. Her constant good example always taught me right from wrong-- Markers for my pathway that will last a lifetime long.

I am my Mother's garden. I am her legacy- And I hope today she feels the love reflected back from me Author unknown. It covers like a blanket And cures boo-boos with a kiss.

It holds a wealth of wisdom With gentleness it guides, It holds the hand when needed Then lets go with tears of pride. My Mother For as long as I can remember you have been by my side to give me support to give me confidence to give me help For as long as I can remember you have always been the person I looked up to so strong so sensitive so pretty For as long as I can remember and still today you are everything a mother should be For as long as I can remember you have always provided stability within our family full of laughter full of tears full of love So much of what I have become is because of you and I want you to know that I appreciate you, thank you and love you more than words can express.

My mother is one who by the way she lives, has set a good example. She is a woman of great strength and virtue, one who has given so selflessly of herself. She shows me how boundless and never ending her love is. She is the type of mother one aspires to be. She has given me the happiest childhood and the fondest memories of what having a wonderful mother has been.

She is one person who has been there without hesitation or questions. She will genuinely listen to me and offer words of comfort when I need them. She is the type of person that will undoubtedly will leave a noticeable void when she's no longer with us. For now, I enjoy her and show her how grateful I am for her being in my life. I am honored to call her my Mom and fortunate to call her my friend. By Jack Prelutsky My mother made a meat loaf that provided much distress, she tried her best to serve it, but she met with no success, her sharpest knife was powerless to cut a single slice, and her efforts with a cleaver failed compleatly to sufice.

She whacked it with a hammer, and she smacked it with a brick, but she couldn't phase that meat loaf, it remained without a nick, I decided I would help her and assailed it with a drill, but the drill made no impression, though I worked with all my skill.

We chipped at it with chisels, but we didn't make a dent, it appeared my mother's meat loaf was much harder than cement, then we set upon the meat loaf with a hatchet and an ax, but that meat loaf stayed unblemished and withstood our fierce attacks. We borrewed bows and arrows, and we firesd at close range, it didn't make a difference, for that meatloaf didn't change, we beset it with a blow torch, but we couldn't find a flaw, and we both were flabbergasted when it broke the power saw.

We hired a hippopotamus to trample it around, but that meat loaf was so mighty that it simply stood its ground, now we manufacture meat loaves by the millions, all year long, they are famous in construction, building houses tall and strong.

Mother's Day poems: the best poetry for Mothering Sunday

As I cradle you in my arms and watch your every breath, tears run down my cheek. You are the center of my world, my precious little girl, so innocent and meek. I am lost in your eyes forever and can sense you know I am here. I know that you will grow to be a very special person for this I have no fear. I know you will grow and develop quickly as if time has no end. However, I will give you the knowledge of knowing that you will always be my friend. You are my beloved precious daughter and I want to make all your dreams come true. For that is what you gave to me, when I was blessed with you.

She is a woman Who feeds, cuddles, and loves me. The one who gave birth to me. I'm her greatest fan. She is my mother Who loves my father, Does anything for her children And takes care of her grandchildren. She is my best friend too, Comforts me when I feel blue. She is my best mother, I couldn't replace her with another.

She is a sweet and loving parent Who cooks my favorite foods, Does household chores And looks after my grandparents. She does multi tasks And gives me anything I ask Because for her, I'm her wealth and power. When I was a child, She taught me how to fear God. Sometimes, I found it awkward But she would understand. When I married my fiancee She told me, ''Love your wife as your mother. Every now and then, She would send an email.

A Poem for My Mom

Stay healthy mom and thank you Lord God for the blessings that you gave to us. Today at school we had Show and Tell I was ready by the ring of the bell. I walked into class and what did I see My Show and Tell object waiting for me. I told the class it was loving and caring and all of the class just kept looking and staring. This object can dry all of your tears.
